How is it possible to make a doll in a week when you only make a few a year yourself?
Anna:
We will use my moulds, which I use for some dolls when I don’t want to create a blank from scratch. Pressing is easier than sculpting from scratch. However, the character still inevitably turns out unique.

What about the materials?
Anna:
The minimal budget includes 2 packs of polymer clay and a couple of glass eyes, totaling less than €50. Some people come with their own materials, some without. We’ll definitely sort it out!

And what happens next? Will you guide me on what to do?
Anna:
Feedback? I’ve got tons of it. You can always ask me for free about any mistakes and progress in your work, or you can rent a recorded course for 1-2 months on a topic that interests you. In any case, I explore the world and am happy to communicate!

Santa Muerte into Angelic Art
Once upon a time near the lake Garda
It was at a time when you could just buy a ticket to start travelling. In 2019, I organised an art tour to Italy. We lived in the lovely town of Desenzano del Garda on the shores of Lake Garda. We spent half the day sculpting dolls and the other half on excursions and delicious Italian food.
We had Venice and Verona, an amazing day in Sirmione with its springs, we explored the lovely little towns along the coast. It was delicious and a lot of fun.
Half of the group were my Moscow students and half were girls from Kyiv. We were united by our love of dolls, our desire to create and we were c happy.

Workshop in Vilnius in 2019
My second workshop in 2019. Vilnius is very cosy town and has a very friendly local community of doll lovers. We sculpted quickly, but also had a lot of fun.
My students had to work hard but it made the result especially delightful. The moment when a bunch of incomprehensible parts turns into a figure and starts to move in your hands is always full of emotion.
