The plasticine prototype helps you understand the figure’s anatomy and the mechanics of movement.
It also gives you a clear 1:1 reference while you carve—so you’re not guessing. It’s the most reliable way to get the exact shape you want.

Is it possible to make this figure without professional sculpting skills?

Anna:

Yes. I designed a simplified 3D template system that already gives you correct volumes and proportions. You’ll start from a solid base—then add details to create a clean, accurate prototype.

What if I can’t attend the Zoom sessions?

Anna:

No problem. All lessons are recorded, so you can work at your own pace. If needed, I can review photos and advise you.

That’s fine. You can print the templates scaled up or down to any size while keeping the proportions.

What wood should I use?

Linden (basswood) is best—its grain is even and easy to carve.
